I happened to be in the same forum thread as this creative artist, and had to put some of her unique and beautiful artwork up.
Gardenwhimsiesbymary takes recycled art and fashions them into lovely garden decorations and even some accessories for the home. I'm a fan of recycled art, and her style is - if I may be so original - whimsical and fairytale-ish. Some of the pieces could have been on the set of Alice in Wonderland!
This is one of my favorites because it's so cute. And I didn't even see the rooster until the second time around! Isn't it so neat how she just takes seemingly random items and puts them together so prettily?
The colors in this are so beautiful, and would look so pretty in the garden during the spring and summer. And during the winter it would provide a nice pool of color in the winter snow.
A wonderful centerpiece for the Valentine season! I really like the stand that the plate is on too.
